You should never need an excuse to get cozy. We all have those weeks that wear us down and leave us needing a weekend of total hibernation. Trust us, we get it, and we'll never judge it. Cozy is your right.

But, just because you plan on spending the entire weekend binge-watching everything and anything on Netflix doesn't mean you can't get dressed. And, by dressed, we mean put on a pair of pajamas so stylish and flattering that you'll be reluctant to ever take them off. In fact, you might even be tempted to wear them outside of the house — you know, once you get through season six of Parks and Recreation and need to restock your snacks.

To further prove our support, we went ahead and rounded up 30 pairs of next-level pajamas to really get this couch party started. Thanks to the magic of overnight delivery, you can be wearing your favorite set before Friday night rolls around.
Juliana Dokas spends 45 minutes getting ready for school in the morning, straightening her hair, applying mascara and, some days, putting on her pajamas.
The 13-year-old wears a pair of red-plaid flannel pants to Murray Junior High in St. Paul, Minn., along with a rotation of baggy sweatpants and flared yoga pants. She pairs them with a "cami" (camisole tank top), a "hoodie" (hooded sweatshirt) and fuzzy slippers. "It's both comfortable and cool," the eighth-grader says of her lounge-around style.

Trend-conscious teens look as if they just rolled out of bed, wearing layers of loungewear to class at schools across the country. The trend goes way beyond "Pajama Day," the once- or twice-a-year special event that many schools hold to raise funds or promote spirit. Sales of "activewear" to girls ages 13 to 17, including sweatpants and sweatshirts but not pajama pants, rose 21% last year over the prior year—much faster than the 7.8% rise of apparel sales overall to that shopper segment, according market-research firm NPD Group.

Retailers are jumping on the pajamas-every-day trend, with stores like Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale and Pink, a sub-brand of Victoria's Secret, giving loungewear prominent display. American Eagle Outfitters' Aerie brand merchandises sweatpants, leggings and other relaxed styles with a variety of shirts, including those with asymmetrical hems or dolman sleeves. A wide neck is key, says Jennifer Foyle, chief merchandising officer, because "girls are wanting to show their bra straps."
As with a lot of teen behavior, some adults are annoyed. In Louisiana's Caddo Parish, which encompasses Shreveport, Commissioner Michael Williams is getting national attention for taking a stand. He plans to propose an ordinance outlawing the wearing of pajamas in public.
"The moral fiber in America is dwindling away," Mr. Williams says. "It's pajamas today; what is it going to be tomorrow? Walking around in your underwear?"

At schools in Florida's Broward County, the Code of Student Conduct reads: "Garments including, but not limited to, pajamas, boxer shorts, bloomers, and bustiers, which were traditionally designed as undergarments, sleepwear or beachwear, may not be worn as outer garments."

Mount Anthony Union High School, in Bennington, Vt., has banned pajama bottoms and slippers. "If you come to school like you're going to go to bed, it says a lot about your lack of motivation," says David Beriau, dean of students. "It creates an atmosphere where people feel like, 'The next thing I'm going to do is slouch. And why not nod off?' "

Past dress-code issues have focused on miniskirts, exposed midriffs and pants worn too low. "I was hoping that once we got past the muffin-top look, we were going to be home free," Mr. Beriau says.

Many parents, though, figure there are worse looks their teens could try. After all, the pajama look isn't objectionable in the sense of being too tight, too short or too revealing.
